Successes

Ars Cantandi means successes and celebration of them. We do our very best to stay focused on achieving certain goals. Throughout the years, we fulfilled our hard work with grand prix, golden, silver and bronze diplomas. We’ve been honoured at many international and polish music festivals.

Performances

Ars Cantandi performs at the ceremonies of Wroclaw University of Economics, festivals and occasional events in Lower Silesian District but also on commercial concerts.
Year by year we’re preparing our repertoire on choral workshops organized in some charming places. It helps us in preparation for international contests, which also means traveling – through Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Belarus, Macedonia, Germany ...

ORGANIZED RECRUITMENT to the  "Ars Cantandi" Choir always takes place at the beginning of each academic year, but in fact the CHOIR RECRUITMENT lasts all year round, which means that you can also join us at any time. All you have to do is come to one of the choir rehearsals (on Monday or Thursday at 6:30 pm in room 214 A located on the 2nd floor in the main building of the Wroclaw University of Economics), pass the INTERVIEW and just start singing with us :).

Happiness only real when shared

The Choir presents diversified repertoire not only on polish stage but also all around the world. Throughout the years, the members of Ars Cantandi have had many possibilities to improve vocal skills, broaden artistic horizon and basically – be the better version of their self! Moreover, our charming and extremely charismatic conductor – Anna Grabowska-Borysinspires us everyday how to be passionate about music, how to develop yourself and discover new singing challenges. Apart from contests, the choir performs at the ceremonies of Wroclaw University of Economics, festivals and occasional events in Lower Silesian District but also on commercial concerts.

Year by year we’re preparing our repertoire on choral workshops organized in some charming places. Fulfillment of choral’ potential is more possible in places like that (so.. now you know our recipe for working productively! J). It helps us in preparation for international contests, which also means traveling – through Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Belarus, Macedonia, Germany… What will be the next stop on our way? That’s a good question!

Ukończyła studia na Akademii Muzycznej im. Karola Lipińskiego we Wrocławiu w specjalnościach: dyrygentura chóralna w klasie prof. Haliny Bobrowicz; dyrygentura symfoniczno-operowa i teoria muzyki oraz Podyplomowe Studium Chórmistrzowskie przy Akademii Muzycznej im. Feliksa Nowowiejskiego w Bydgoszczy. Jest stypendystką Ministra Kultury i Prorektora Akademii Muzycznej we Wrocławiu oraz laureatką III nagrody i Nagrody Specjalnej na III Międzynarodowym Turnieju Dyrygentury Chóralnej "W stronę polifonii".
Jest założycielem i kierownikiem artystycznym Chóru "Ars Cantandi" Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu, z którym prowadzi ożywioną działalność koncertową na terenie kraju i poza jego granicami. Zespół rokrocznie  zdobywa laury na ogólnopolskich i międzynarodowych konkursach chóralnych. Od października 2016 prowadzi Chór Kameralny przy Uniwersytecie Ekonomicznym we Wrocławiu, który powstał z inicjatywy absolwentów Chóru Ars Cantandi.
 

 
W 2010 objęła stanowisko kierownika Chóru Opery Wrocławskiej,  który od tamtego czasu przygotowała do 40 premier teatralnych, wznowień i superwidowisk operowych.  
W latach 2014 - 2016 była koordynatorem grup chóralnych projektu operowego "Zarzuela" w ramach wydarzeń Wrocław ESK 2016 zwieńczonego występem 300-osobowego zespołu chóralnego w spektaklu Hiszpańska noc z Carmen - Zarzuela show  na Stadionie Miejskim we Wrocławiu w czerwcu 2016 roku.  
Przez szereg lat prowadziła także działalność pedagogiczną jako nauczyciel przedmiotów teoretycznych i zespołów w Szkole Muzycznej I st. im. Grażyny Bacewicz we Wrocławiu (orkiestra oraz kwartet smyczkowy nadal) oraz Społecznej Szkole Muzycznej I st. we Wrocławiu.
 
Za swoją działalność otrzymała nagrody: - dla najlepszego dyrygenta w konkursach chóralnych (Gdańsk 2017, Wrocław 2014, Barczewo 2010); - Dyrektora Opery Wrocławskiej za osiągnięcia zawodowe (2015, 2016); - Rektora UE we Wrocławiu za sukcesy i osiągnięcia oraz szczególne zasługi w promocji uczelni (2007, 2009, 2015, 2016, 2017); - Dyrektora SM I st. im. G. Bacewicz we Wrocławiu za wyróżniającą pracę dydaktyczno-wychowawczą (2007, 2008, 2009, 2015, 2016, 2017).
